CMV (IE-2) Peptide pool is a lyophilised mixture of 143 peptides from immediate early protein 2 (IE2) of human cytomegalovirus (CMV; strain AD169), and consists of 15-mer peptides with 11-amino-acid overlaps that cover amino acids 1 to 580 on IE2. IE2 is critical for viral infection and for the expression of CMV early genes (Marchini <i>et al.</i>). It also controls transcription initiation for a subset of early-late and late viral promoters via RNA polymerase II (Li <i>et al.</i>). IE2, along with IE1, may contribute to the survival of CMV-infected cells by blocking tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF-α)-induced apoptosis (Zhu <i>et al.</i>). Viral peptide pools are useful for a broad range of applications, including vaccine development, immunological research, and diagnostic assay development.

The subpools contain 158 and 157 peptides, respectively, for a total of 315 peptides, and they consist of 15-mer peptides with 11-amino-acid overlaps that cover amino acids 1 to 1270 on the spike protein. Through interactions with the angiotensin-converting enzyme 2 (ACE2) receptor, the spike protein enables the virus to attach to the cell membrane, and plays a critical role in viral entry (Hoffmann <i>et al.</i>; Walls <i>et al.</i>). HPV16 (E6) Peptide Pool is a lyophilised mixture of 37 peptides from the E6 protein of human papillomavirus type 16 (HPV16). The pool consists of 15-mer peptides with 11-amino-acid overlaps that cover amino acids 1 to 158 on protein E6. E6 binds to the tumor suppressor protein p53 and stimulates its degradation (Scheffner <i>et al.</i>; Werness <i>et al.</i> ), which is thought to cause an increase in spontaneous mutagenesis in host cells (Havre <i>et al.</i>). E6 together with E7 demonstrated the ability to immortalize human keratinocytes in vitro, which likely has significance for HPVs oncogenic potential (Hawley-Nelson <i>et al.</i>). SHOC2 Antibody: SHOC2 protein participates in protein binding / transferase activity in the fibroblast growth factor receptor signaling pathway and Ras protein signal transduction. It is a widely expressed protein composed almost entirely of leucine-rich repeats (LRR), with a lysine-rich sequence at the amino terminus and cytoplasmically localized. SHOC2 acts as a positive modulator of the RAS-MAPK signaling cascade, which is elicited by EGL-15 and LET-23 and mediated by LET-60. SHOC2 together with protein phosphatase 1c (PP1c) forms a highly specific M-Ras effector complex and is essential for activation of the MAPK pathway by growth factors. Furthermore, in tumor cells with Ras gene mutations, inhibition of SHOC2 expression inhibits MAPK, but not PI3K activity. The SHOC2-PP1c holoenzyme provides an attractive therapeutic target for inhibition of the MAPK pathway in cancer. Recent studies show that aberrantly acquired N-myristoylation of SHOC2 causes human disease Noonan-like syndrome with loose anagen hair.

Die Isoliermaterialien sind frei von oberflächenaktiven Substanzen (ohne Silikon). Die Bildung von Dampfnestern wird durch ein gut gesteuertes Luftversorgungssystem verhindert. Die Frischluft wird vor der Zufuhr in den Innenraum gefiltert und vorgewärmt; ein Radialgebläse sorgt dafür, dass sich die angewärmte Frischluft und die Lösungsmitteldämpfe gut vermischen.

The mucins are a family of highly glycosylated, secreted proteins with a basic structure consisting of a variable number of tandem repeats (VNTRs). Membrane-associated and secretory mucins are high molecular weight glycoproteins of the glycocalyx (polysaccharide biofilm) that protects mucosal epithelium from particulate matter and microorganisms. Epithelial mucins are large, secreted and cell surface glycoproteins crucial for adhesion modulation, signaling and epithelial cell protection. The number of repeats is highly polymorphic and varies among different alleles. The Mucin family consists of Mucins 1-4, Mucin 5 (AC and B), 6-8, 11-13 and 15-17. The Mucin 16 protein (also commonly referred to as CA125), encoded for by the gene MUC16, is a very high molecular weight tumor antigen consisting of three domains: a carboxy terminal domain, an extracellular domain and an amino terminal domain. Mucin 16, an ovarian cancer-associated antigen, is used as a marker to monitor the progress of epithelial ovarian cancer. It is a hydrophilic membrane-associated protein that may be involved in vitamin A functions.
