GOLGA5 Antibody: GOLGA5 (Golgi autoantigen, subfamily A, member 5), also known as GOLGA84, RFG5 (RET-fused gene 5 protein) or GOLIM5, is a ubiquitously expressed single-pass type II coiled-coil membrane protein that is involved in maintaining Golgi structure. It is localized to the Golgi apparatus and predominantly found on membranes at the cis side of the Golgi stack (1,2). As a mitotic phosphoprotein, GOLGA5 binds to active Rab 1 and associates with CASP (an isoform of CDP) in a golgin-tethering complex that is believed to play a role in intra-Golgi retrograde transport. Defects in GOLGA5 are a cause of thyroid papillary carcinoma (TPC).

Interleukin-18 is a secreted protein and it belongs to the IL-1 family. IL-18 is a proinflammatory cytokine and produced by macrophages and other cells. This cytokine can induce the IFN-gamma production of T cells. The combination of this cytokine and IL12 has been shown to inhibit IL-4 dependent IgE and IgG1 production, and enhance IgG2a production of B cells. IL-18 binding protein (IL18BP) can specifically interact with this cytokine, and thus negatively regulate its biological activity. After stimulation with IL-18, natural killer (NK) cells and certain T cells release another important cytokine called interferon- gamma (IFN- gamma ) or type II interferon that plays an important role in activating the macrophages or other cells.

The RPA-T4 monoclonal antibody specifically binds to the CD4 receptor for the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV). CD4 is a 59 kDa single-chain transmembrane glycoprotein that expressed on the surface of most of the thymocytes, T-helper cells, and in low levels on monocytes and macrophages. CD4 is a co-receptor in the antigen-induced T cell activation, together with the MHC class II. The RPA-T4 antibody is capable of blocking HIV binding and inhibiting syncytium formation, by binding to the D1 domain of the CD4 antigen. The OKT4 and the RPA-T4 monoclonal antibodies recognize different epitopes of CD4 and they do not exhibit cross-block binding.

TCEB1 is known as protein elongin C, which is a subunit of the transcription factor B (SIII) complex. The SIII complex is composed of elongins A/A2, B and C. It activates elongation by RNA polymerase II by suppressing transient pausing of the polymerase at many sites within transcription units. Elongin A functions as the transcriptionally active component of the SIII complex, whereas elongins B and C are regulatory subunits. Elongin A2 is specifically expressed in the testis, and capable of forming a stable complex with elongins B and C. The von Hippel-Lindau tumor suppressor protein binds to elongins B and C, and thereby inhibits transcription elongation. Western blots using two different antibodies (P100962-T200 and P100963_P050 / P100963_P100) against two unique regions of this protein target confirm the same apparent molecular weight in our tests.

WDR92 Antibody: WD40 repeats are a common structural module in eukaryotic proteins, and proteins containing WD40 domains have a wide range of functions, including signal transduction, cell cycle regulation, RNA splicing, and transcription. One such protein, WDR92, also known as monad, contains two WD40 repeats is widely expressed in human tissues, especially testis. Overexpression of this protein or its binding partner RNA polymerase II-associated protein 3 (RPAP3) potentiated apoptosis and caspase-3 activation induced by TNF-alpha and cycloheximide, suggesting that WDR92, together with RPAP3, may function as a novel modulator of apoptosis.

CD40 Ligand (CD40LG) is a type II transmembrane glycoprotein that belongs to the TNF superfamily. Like other TNF superfamily members, CD40LG exists as a trimer in membrane bound and soluble form, both of which are bioactive. CD40LG is a ligand for CD40; its ligation also initiates signal transduction in CD40LG expressing cells. CD40LG is a differentiation antigen that is expressed on the surface of T-cells. It stimulates B-cell proliferation and secretion of all immunoglobulin isotypes in the presence of cytokines. CD40LG has been shown to induce cytokine production and tumoricidal activity in peripheral blood monocytes. It also co-stimulates proliferation of activated T-cells and this is accompanied by the production of IFN-gamma, TNF-alpha, and IL2.

CD19 associates with CD21, CD81 and MHC class II to form a multi-molecular complex that initiates the mature B lymphocyte activation by interaction with the B-cell receptors. CD 19 enhances the B cell proliferation, development and activation, and the maturation of memory B cells. In CD19-deficient mice, the generation and maturation of B lymphocytes in the bone marrow and periphery are affected.
