Das Wheaton R2P™ 2.0 Rollersystem ist so ausgelegt, dass Entwicklung und Wachstum von kultivierten Zellen von Forschungsmengen zu Produktionsmengen ohne Änderung von Geräten und Neuvalidierung der Protokolle möglich ist. Das R2P™ 2.0 System nutzt die computergestützte Messung der tatsächlichen Flaschendrehzahl und ermöglicht eine Vernetzung von bis zu 255 Geräten. Anwendungen: Viren für Impfstoffe oder zugehörige Studien, Proteine, Enzyme; Antikörper, Lebendzellen-Assays.

Es sind zwei Deck-Konfigurationen verfügbar. Der Produktionsabstand von 152 mm zwischen den Decks dient der maximalen Ausnutzung des Platzes im Inkubator, während der modulare Abstand von 181 mm zwischen den Decks das Entfernen und Austauschen von Flaschen erleichtert und dadurch die Zellen weniger gestört werden. Systeme mit fünf Platzierungsbereichen pro Deck ermöglichen die Verwendung eines aufrechten Inkubators. Systeme mit acht Positionen sind für großtechnische Herstellungsanlagen vorgesehen.
