The ImmunoReagents' DyLight® 800 conjugates uses a near-IR fluorphore that is invisible to the naked eye but increases the staining options when using infrared imaging systems. Clone MTC02 antibody recognises a unique 60 kDa antigen that is present only on mitochondria in human cells. It is a part of a panel of reagents which recognises subcellular organelles or compartments. These markers may be useful in identification of these organelles in cells, tissues, and biochemical preparations. This antibody recognises an antigen associated with the mitochondria specific to human cells alone. MTC02 mAb can be used to stain the mitochondria in cell or tissue preparations and can be used as a marker in subcellular fractions. The antibody produces a spaghetti-like pattern in normal and malignant cells and may be used to stain mitochondria of cells in fixed or frozen tissue sections. It can also be used with paraformaldehyde fixed frozen tissue or cell preparations. MTC02 antibody is an excellent marker for human cells in xenographic model research. It reacts specifically with human cells, including neurons and embryonic stem cells.

This antibody recognizes a 27 kDa protein, identified as the p27Kip1, a cell cycle regulatory mitotic inhibitor. Its epitope spans between aa 83-204 of p27. It is highly specific and shows no cross-reaction with other related mitotic inhibitors. p27Kip1 functions as a negative regulator of G1 progression and has been proposed to function as a possible mediator of TGF- induced G1 arrest. p27Kip1 is a candidate tumor suppressor gene. This MAb co-precipitates cdk4 in complex p27Kip1 and is excellent for staining of formalin-fixed tissues.

It can be used to stain the nuclei in cell or tissue preparations and can be used as a nuclear marker in human cells. This mAb produces a homogeneous staining pattern in the nucleus of normal and malignant cells.,Double Stranded deoxyribonucleic acid (ds DNA) is the genetic material of all cells and many viruses and is a polymer of nucleotides. The monomer consists of phosphorylated 2-deoxyribose N-glycosidically linked to one of four bases, adenine, cytosine, guanine or thymine. These are linked together by 3',5'-phosphodiester bridges. In the Watson-Crick double-helix model, two complementary strands are wound in a right-handed helix and held together by hydrogen bonds between complementary base pairs.

<p>This antibody reacts with a 200 kDa protein, identified as heavy subunit of neurofilaments, or NF-H. Neurofilaments make up the main structural elements of axons and dendrites and are found in neurons, peripheral nerves, and sympathetic ganglion cells. Neurofilaments consist of three major subunits with molecular weights of 68 kDa (NF-L), 160 kDa (NF-M) and 200 kDa (NF-H), plus alpha internexin or peripherin. Each neurofilament subunit contains a globular head, an alpha helical rod domain, and variable tail domains that differ in length and amino acid content.<p>Neurofilament antibody stains a number of neural, neuroendocrine, and endocrine tumors. Neuromas, ganglioneuromas, gangliogliomas, ganglioneuroblastomas, and neuroblastomas stain positively for neurofilament antibody. Neurofilaments are also present in paragangliomas as well as adrenal and extra-adrenal pheochromocytomas. Carcinoids, neuroendocrine carcinomas of the skin, and cell carcinomas of the lung also express neurofilament.

Acridine orange (AO) stains dsDNA green (525 nm) and RNA or single stranded DNA red (650 nm). The dye is membrane-permeant and its nucleic acid binding property has been used for cell-cycle studies. Acridine orange has also been used for the detection of microorganisms in cerebrospinal fluid and other clinical specimens. We offer a highly purified form of acridine orange while most of the other commercially available grades of AO are either in zinc chloride complex form or of low purity.
