PIAS2 Antibody: The PIAS (protein inhibitor of activated STAT) proteins play a crucial role as transcriptional coregulators in various cellular pathways, including the STAT, p53 and the steroid hormone signaling pathway. The PIAS protein family includes at least five evolutionarily conserved genes, including PIAS2. The major function of the PIAS proteins is the control of gene transcription and can also act as small ubiquitin-like-modifier (SUMO) E3 ligases. PIAS2 binds specifically to STAT4 following IL-12 stimulation and inhibits STAT4-mediated gene activation in human T cells. PIAS2 is a potent transcriptional activator of Bcl-2, but together with Bcl-6 can suppress the expression of Bcl-2.

CD98 is a single-pass type I I membrane protein which belongs to the SLC3A transporter family. SLC3A2/MDU1 is expressed ubiquitously in all tissues tested with highest levels detected in kidney, placenta and testis and weakest level in thymus. It consists of an 85 kDa glycosylated type II transmembrane heavy chain and a 40-50 kDa non-glycosylated light chain with 12 transmembrane segments. The heavy chain (SLC3A2) pairs with one of several light chains (SLC7A5, 6, 7, 8, 10, or 11) and is required for the cell surface expression and amino acid transport function of the light chains. It is involved in guiding and targeting of LAT1 and LAT2 to the plasma membrane. It also mediates integrin signaling, T cell costimulation, B cell proliferation, and viral fusion with cell membranes.

KANK1 Antibody: Ankyrins are membrane adaptor molecules that play important roles in the control of cytoskeleton formation by regulating actin polymerization. KANK1 (KN motif and ankyrin repeat domain-containing protein 1), also known as ANKRD15, is a 1,352 amino acid protein that contains at least 12 exons and 5 ANK repeats. It binds to beta-catenin and regulates its subcellular distribution. KANK1 is ubiquitously expressed and localizes to cytoplasm. It may function as a tumor suppressor for renal cell carcinoma. Mutations in this gene cause cerebral palsy spastic quadriplegic type 2, a central nervous system development disorder.

The function of the protein encoded by this gene is not well defined, however it contains zinc finger motifs suggestive of a transcription factor. The protein (isoform 1) is localized to both the nucleus and cytoplasm. Three splice variant mRNAs products have been described [1]. The longer AIRE-1 mRNA appears to be more abundant and includes exons 1 through 14. Splice variant AIRE-2 includes a portion of the non-coding region of exon 1, an alternatively spliced longer exon 8, plus exons 9 through 14. Variant AIRE-3 includes the same exon 1-8-9 sequences as found in AIRE-2 but utilizes additional alternative splicing in exon 10 that shifts the reading frame such that a stop codon in exon 12 is utilized.

Lumican is a 40 kD secreted protein which belongs to the small leucine-rich repeat proteoglycans (SLRPs) and the class II subfamily. Human Lumican is synthesized as a 338 amino acid precursor then cut the 18 aa signal sequence. The mature Human Lumican contains 12 leucine-rich repeats (LRRs), 4 potential sites of N-linked glycosylation, and a C- terminal with two conserved cyst-eines. Lumican can be existed in extracellular matrix of human articular cartilage. Lumican participates in the maintenance of tissue homeostasis and regulates cellular functions in vivo, such as cell proliferation, adhesion, migration, and differentiation. The overexpression of lumican has been correlated to colorectal tumor, breast, neuroendocrine, and pancreatic cancers.

FGFR3 Antibody: FGFR3 is a tyrosine-protein kinase that acts as cell-surface receptor for fibroblast growth factors and plays an essential role in the regulation of cell proliferation, differentiation and apoptosis. It is required for normal skeleton development and promotes apoptosis in chondrocytes and cancer cell proliferation. FGFR3 protein contains three immunoglobulin-like domains, a single hydrophobic membrane-spanning segment and a cytoplasmic tyrosine kinase domain (1,2). It is alternatively spliced to produce three isoforms that are expressed in brain, kidney and testis. Defects in FGFR3 are associated with several diseases, including achondroplasia and hypochondroplasia. Mutations in FGFR3 are also a cause of some bladder and cervical cancers.
