GPR15 Antibody: Human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) and related viruses require coreceptors to infect target cells. Some G protein-coupled receptors including CCR5, CXCR4, CCR3, CCR2b and CCR8 in the chemokine receptor family, and four new human molecules GPR15, STRL33, GPR1 and V28 were recently identified as HIV coreceptors. The genes encoding human and monkey GPR15/BOB (for G protein-coupled receptor 15 and brother of Bonzo, respectively, ) were recently cloned. This novel G protein-coupled receptor serves as corecptor for simian immunodeficiency virus (SIV), and for strains of HIV-2 and M-tropic HIV-1. The ligand for GPR15 has not been identified yet.

ZIP2 Antibody: The zinc transporter ZIP2, also known as SLC39A2, is a member of a family of divalent ion transporters. Zinc is an essential ion for cells and plays significant roles in the growth, development, and differentiation. Similar to knock-outs of ZIP1 and ZIP3, ZIP2-null mice have no phenotypic differences compared to wild-type mice. Only when ZIP1, ZIP2, and ZIP3 genes are all eliminated and these mutant mice are fed a zinc-deficient diet do abnormalities such as reduced embryonic-membrane bound alkaline phosphatase activity and abnormal development occur, indicating that the ZIP1-3 proteins play an important, noncompensatory role when zinc is deficient. More recent studies have shown that ZIP2 and ZIP3 are down regulated in human prostate adenocarcinomatous glands, and may be important in the retention of zinc in the cellular compartment.

It demethylates trimethylated and dimethylated but not monomethylated H3 'Lys-27'. UTX plays a central role in regulation of posterior development, by regulating HOX gene expression. Demethylation of 'Lys-27' of histone H3 is concomitent with methylation of 'Lys-4' of histone H3, and regulates the recruitment of the PRC1 complex and monoubiquitination of histone H2A.

IL-36alpha (IL-1F6), IL-36beta (IL-1F8) and IL-36gamma (IL-1F9) bind to IL-36R (IL-1Rrp2) and IL-1RAcP, activating similar intracellular signals as IL-1. Skin and dendritic cells are targets of the IL-36 interleukins leading to a Th1 response. These cytokines may represent potential targets for immune-mediated inflammatory conditions or, alternatively, could be used as adjuvants in vaccination.

bHLH proteins are essential for neurogenesis, myogenesis, haematopoiesis and sex determination. HES1 (Hairy and Enhancer of Split 1) is a basic Helix-Loop-Helix (bHLH) transcriptional repressor regulated by the Notch pathway and expressed in various tissues. HES1 is well known in development of different tissues, particularly endoderm derived endocrine organs like pancreas and neuroendocrine cells of lung. HES1 controls normal development by regulating proliferation and differentiation and so cell fate. Notch signalling plays both oncogenic and tumour suppressor roles depending on cell type. In contrast to T cell acute lymphoblastic leukaemia (ALL), where Notch activation promotes leukemogenesis, induction of Notch signalling in B cell ALL (B-ALL) leads to growth arrest and apoptosis. The Notch target HES1 is sufficient to reproduce this tumour suppressor phenotype in B-ALL by interacting and activating PARP-1 and regulating proapoptotic signals.

RBM9 is a RNA-binding protein that seems to act as a coregulatory factor of ER-alpha.This gene is one of several human genes similar to the C. elegans gene Fox-1. This gene encodes an RNA binding protein that is thought to be a key regulator of alternative exon splicing in the nervous system and other cell types. The protein binds to a conserved UGCAUG element found downstream of many alternatively spliced exons and promotes inclusion of the alternative exon in mature transcripts. The protein also interacts with the estrogen receptor 1 transcription factor and regulates estrogen receptor 1 transcriptional activity. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
