Recognizes a protein of 30-33 kDa, which is identified as CD20 (Workshop V; Code CD20.4). It is a non-Ig differentiation antigen of B-cells and its expression is restricted to normal and neoplastic B-cells, being absent from all other leukocytes and tissues. CD20 is expressed by pre B-cells and persists during all stages of B-cell maturation but is lost upon terminal differentiation into plasma cells. The protein passes through the membrane 4 times with both ends in cytoplasm and exposes one short and one longer loop to the external environment. CD20 is not glycosylated in resting B-cells and its cytoplasmic domains are differentially phosphorylated upon activation. It acts as calcium channel involved in B cell activation and cell cycle progression.

FSD1L is a 530 amino acid protein containing one B30.2/SPRY domain, one COS domain, and a fibronectin type-III domain. Existing as three alternatively spliced isoforms, FSD1L is expressed primarily in brain, with lower levels of expression found in thymus, pituitary and testis. FSD1L may function in microtubule binding during interphase and is encoded by a gene that maps to human chromosome 9q31.2. Chromosome 9 consists of about 145 million bases andd comprises approximately 4% of the human genome and encodes nearly 900 genes. Considered to play a role in gender determination, deletion of the distal portion of 9p can lead to development of male to female sex reversal, the phenotype of a female with a male X,Y genotype.

BPTF is a 2,907 amino acid protein encoded by the human gene BPTF. BPTF belongs to the PBTF family and contains one bromodomain, one DDT domain and two PHD-type zinc fingers. BPTF acts as a histone-binding component of NURF (nucleosome-remodeling factor). The NURF complex, which consists of SMARCA1, BPTF, RbAp46 and RbAp48, acts to catalyze ATP-dependent nucleosome sliding and facilitates transcription of chromatin. It specifically recognizes histone H3 tails trimethylated on 'Lys-4' (H3-K4Me3), which mark transcription start sites of virtually all active genes. BPTF may also help regulate transcription through direct binding to DNA or transcription factors.
