Recognizes a protein of 210-220 kDa, which is identified as the complement receptor 1 (CR1)/CD35. This MAb is specific for a site in CR1 that is distal from the C3b-binding site, so that it is unable to block CR1 activity. This MAb is highly specific to CR1 and shows no cross-reaction with CR2. The primary function of CR1 is to serve as the cellular receptor for C3b and C4b, the most important components of the complement system leading to clearance of foreign macromolecules. The Knops blood group system is a system of antigens located on this protein. Follicular dendritic cells (FDC) are restricted to the B-cell regions of secondary lymphoid follicles. They are CD21 /CD35 /CD1a-. This MAb labels follicular dendritic cells and follicular dendritic cell sarcoma.

GPCR2037 is a G protein-coupled receptor that undergoes weak activation by Galanin and is most abundant in the central nervous system (CNS), where it appears to be critical for development. During embryonal development the expression of GPCR2037 is widespread in the nervous system (dorsal thalamus, striatum, locus coeruleus and hindbrain nuclei). GPCR2037 in the CNS of 7- and 15-day-old mouse embryos can localize to the habenular complex. Low levels of GPCR2037 are detectable in testis, liver, kidney and stomach. In addition to GPCR2037, Galanin mediates its effects through receptor subtypes GALR1, 2 and 3. Galanin ligand exerts anxiolytic actions via GALR receptors under conditions of high stress. Galanin coexists with norepinephrine and serotonin in neural systems that mediate emotion.

DIP2A, also known as DIP2, is a 1571 amino acid nuclear protein. It is one of three human homologs (DIP2A, DIP2B and DIP2C) of the Drosophila dip2 (disconnected-interacting protein 2) protein. In Drosophila, dip2 interacts with disco, a protein required for neuronal connections in the visual systems of larvae and adults. The closest vertebrate homologs to disco are the basonuclin genes. In mice, DIP2 homologs show restricted expression to the brain. This suggests that, similar to the function of Drosophila dip2, vertebrate DIP2 homologs may play a role in the development of the nervous system. Expressed ubiquitously with highest expression in the brain, DIP2A is thought to function in signaling throughout the central nervous system by providing positional clues for axon patterning and pathfinding. Four isoforms of DIP2A exist due to alternative splicing events.

Peripherin is a class-III neuronal intermediate filament protein found in certain classes of neuron, most of which are located in the peripheral nervous system. Peripherin is a ~57kDa intermediate filament subunit found initially in sensory neurons of the peripheral nervous systems, which gives the protein its name. The HGNC name for this protein is PRPH. Subsequently, peripherin was found in some sensory and other neurons of the central nervous system and also in rat pheochromacytoma PC12 cells. Peripherin is also expressed in certain neuroendocrine tumors and in the insulin producing cells of the pancreas. Peripherin belongs to the Class III family of intermediate filament subunits which also includes vimentin, glial fibrillary acidic protein (GFAP) and desmin.
