The GK1.5 monoclonal antibody specifically binds with the mouse CD4 molecule, also known as L3T4, a 55 kDa differentiation antigen which binds to the MHC class II. CD4 is expressed on most thymocytes, a subpopulation of mature T lymphocytes, dendritic cells, pluripotent hematopoietic stem cells, B cell precursors, and lymphoid precursors inside the thymus. It is also expressed on the mouse egg cell membrane, enhancing adhesion to MHC class II bearing sperm. By interaction with MHC class II on the surface of APC, CD4 initiates the development of T lymphocytes and helps the optimum functioning of mature T lymphocytes. The binding of the GK1.5 antibody blocks the binding of the Anti-Mouse CD4 RM4-5 antibody.

Members of the KCNIP family are small calcium binding proteins. They all have EF-hand-like domains, and differ from each other in the N-terminus. They are integral subunit components of native Kv4 channel complexes. They may regulate A-type currents, and hence neuronal excitability, in response to changes in intracellular calcium. APC13 Antibody: Cell cycle regulated protein ubiquitination and degradation within subcellular domains is thought to be essential for the normal progression of mitosis. APC13 is a highly conserved component of the anaphase promoting complex/cyclosome (APC/C), a cell cycle-regulated E3 ubiquitin ligase that controls progression through mitosis and the G1 phase of the cell cycle. APC/C is responsible for degrading anaphase inhibitors, mitotic cyclins, and spindle-associated proteins ensuring that events of mitosis take place in proper sequence. The individual APC/C components mRNA and protein levels are expressed at approximately the same levels in most tissues and cell lines, suggesting that they perform their functions as part of a complex. APC13 promotes the stable association of APC3/Cdc27 and APC6/Cdc16 with the APC/C.

CXXC4 Antibody: CXXC4 is zinc finger protein that binds directly to the PDZ domain of DVL1, a protein involved in the Wnt signaling pathway, through its C-terminal region. CXXC4's interaction with DVL1 competes with DVL1-AXIN binding, although the affinity of DVL1 for CXXC4 is lower than that for AXIN. In mouse fibroblasts, CXXC4 suppressed Wnt3a induction of beta-catenin and inhibited Wnt3a-dependent TCF4 activation, suggesting that CXXC4 acts as a negative regulator of the Wnt signaling pathway and functions between DVL and beta-catenin. Recent reports suggest that decreased CXXC4 expression is associated with kidney cancer metastasis, cell proliferation, reduced apoptosis in response to cancer drugs, and upregulation of genes involved with proliferation, invasion and cell survival, suggesting that CXXC4 plays a critical role in tumor progression in kidney cancer.
