Ultracentrifugation is an invaluable tool in research laboratories for separating and purifying complex mixtures. In this webinar you will learn how to best optimise viral and protein purification through centrifugation to obtain the highest resolution, purity and yield.

We will review

  • When to use each rotor type
  • Case studies showing comparisons between different rotor types and centrifugation vs chromatography and
  • An introduction to Beckman Coulter’s new VTi 50.1 rotor, which is optimal for gene therapy applications
