Resistin-like molecule-beta (RELM-β) is a member of the RELM family of secreted proteins containing conserved C-terminus cysteines. The RELM family consists of Resistin (FIZZ3), RELM-α (FIZZ1), RELM-β (FIZZ2), and RELM-ɣ (FIZZ4). Resistin and RELM-β are the only RELM family members found in humans, whereas all four RELM family members are present in rodents. RELM-β functions to increase fibroblast proliferation and differentiation, resulting in airway remodelling and increased inflammation.

Syntenin-1 is a molecule linking syndecan-mediated signalling to the cytoskeleton. Syntenin-1 is primarily localised to membrane-associated adherens junctions and focal adhesions but also found at the endoplasmic reticulum and nucleus. The syntenin protein contains tandemly repeated PDZ domains that bind the cytoplasmic, C-terminal domains of a variety of transmembrane proteins. Syntenin-1 may affect cytoskeletal-membrane organisation, cell adhesion, protein trafficking, and the activation of transcription factors. It seems to function as an adapter protein, in adherens junctions may function to couple syndecans to cytoskeletal proteins or signalling components. Syntenin-1 seems to couple transcription factor SOX4 to the IL-5 receptor (IL5RA) and play a role in vesicular trafficking.

Collagen alpha-1(III) chain（Col3a1） is a secreted protein and belongs to the fibrillar collagen family.It contains 1 fibrillar collagen NC1 domain and 1 VWFC domain. Collagen alpha-1(III) chain is a fibrillar collagen that is found in extensible connective tissues such as skin, lung, and the vascular system, frequently in association with type I collagen. The COL3A1 gene produces the components of type III collagen, called pro-alpha1(III) chains. Three copies of this chain combine to make a molecule of type III procollagen. These triple-stranded, rope-like procollagen molecules must be processed by enzymes outside the cell to remove extra protein segments from their ends. Once these molecules are processed, the collagen molecules arrange themselves into long, thin fibrils. Within these fibrils, the individual collagen molecules are cross-linked to one another. These cross-links result in the formation of very strong mature type III collagen fibrils, which are found in the spaces around cells.

Fatty Acid-Binding Protein 2 (FABP2) is a cytoplasm protein that belongs to the Fatty-acid binding protein (FABP) family of calycin superfamily. Fatty acid binding proteins are a family of small, highly conserved, cytoplasmic proteins that bind long-chain fatty acids. FABP2 is expressed in the small intestine and at much lower levels in the large intestine, the highest expression levels in the jejunum. FABP2 binds saturated long-chain fatty acids with a high affinity, but binds with a lower affinity to unsaturated long-chain fatty acids. FABP2 is probably involved in triglyceride-rich lipoprotein synthesis and may also help maintain energy homeostasis by functioning as a lipid sensor.
