Recognizes a protein of ~76 kDa, which is identified as Nucleolin (NCL). It is the major nucleolar phosphoprotein of growing eukaryotic cells. NCL is located mainly in dense fibrillar regions of the nucleolus. It is found associated with intranucleolar chromatin and pre-ribosomal particles. Human NCL gene consists of 14 exons with 13 introns and spans approximately 11kb. It induces chromatin decondensation by binding to histone H1. It is thought to play a role in pre-rRNA transcription and ribosome assembly.This MAb can be used to stain the nucleoli in cell or tissue preparations and can be used as a marker of the nucleoli in subcellular fractions. It produces a speckled pattern in the nuclei of cells of normal and malignant cells and may be used to stain the nucleoli of cells in fixed or frozen tissue sections. It can be used with paraformaldehyde fixed frozen tissue or cell preparations and formalin fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue sections.

Lipoxygenases are a family of enzymes which dioxygenate unsaturated fatty acids, thus initiating lipoperoxidation of membranes and synthesis of signaling molecules, as well as inducing structural and metabolic changes in the cell. The Lox enzymes in mammals include 12-LO and 15-LO, which are classified with respect to their positional specificity of the deoxygenation of their most common substrate, arachidonic acid. The metabolism of arachidonic acid leads to the generation of biologically active metabolites that have been implicated in cell growth and proliferation, as well as survival and apoptosis. 15-Lipoxygenase (15-LO) acts in physiological membrane remodeling and the pathogenesis of atherosclerosis, inflammation, and carcinogenesis. It is highly regulated and expressed in a tissue- and cell-type-specific fashion. IL-4 and IL-13 play important roles in transactivating the 15-LO gene. Overexpression of 15-LO type 1 in prostate cancer contributes to the cancer progression by regulating IGF-1R expression and activation.

Extraktion von 13 Pestiziden aus vier Grundwasser- und drei Flusswasserproben unter Verwendung des mesoporösen Feststoffs MSU-1 auf Siliciumdioxidbasis als Sorbens für ihre Festphasenextraktion (SPE), gefolgt von einer Bestimmung mittels Ultra-Performance-Flüssigkeitschromatographie-Triple-Quadrupol-Massenspektrometrie (UHPLC-QqQ-MS/MS). Entwicklung und Validierung einer UHPLC-Diodenarray-Detektionsmethode (DAD) zur gleichzeitigen Bestimmung von Harnstoff- und Tebuthiuron-Herbiziden in vier frischen Gemüseproben. Multirückstandsanalyse von 50 Herbiziden in 51 Getreideproben von Soja, Mais und Weizen mittels Ultra-Performance-Flüssigkeitschromatographie-Elektrospray-Ionisations-Massenspektrometrie (UPLC-ESI-MS). Extraktion von 109 Pestizidrückständen verschiedener chemischer Klassen aus 345 Tomatenproben mittels modifizierter QuEChERS-Methode und deren Bestimmung mittels Flüssigkeitschromatographie-Tandem-Massenspektrometrie (LC-MS/MS). Gleichzeitige Analyse von 238 Pestiziden und 78 Tierarzneimitteln in 80 Kuhmilchproben mittels ultraschneller Flüssigkeitschromatographie-Tandem-Massenspektrometrie (UFLC-MS/MS) und Gaschromatographie-Tandem-Massenspektrometrie (GC-MS/MS).
