Maxima™ Reverse Transcriptase is an advanced enzyme derived by <i>in vitro</i> evolution of M-MuLV RT for RT-qPCR application. The enzyme features high thermostability, robustness and increased synthesis rates in RT-qPCR. The Maxima™ Reverse Transcriptase is capable of cDNA synthesis at elevated temperatures (50 to 60 °C) and completion of the reverse transcription reaction in 15 to 30 minutes. The use of this enzyme in combination with Maxima™ qPCR Master Mixes ensures high specificity, sensitivity and wide linear range of two step RT-qPCR. Applications include first strand cDNA synthesis, RT-PCR, and RT-qPCR.

This T4 DNA ligase catalyzes the formation of a phosphodiester bond between juxtaposed 5'-phosphate and 3'-hydroxyl termini in duplex DNA or RNA. The enzyme repairs single-strand nicks in duplex DNA, RNA, or DNA/RNA hybrids. It also joins DNA fragments with either cohesive or blunt termini, but has no activity on single-stranded nucleic acids.

Maxima™ H Minus First Strand cDNA Synthesis Kit is a complete system for highly efficient synthesis of first strand cDNA. The kit uses the Maxima™ H Minus Reverse Transcriptase (RT), which is an advanced enzyme derived by<i> in vitro</i> evolution of M-MuLV RT. The enzyme features the highest thermostability among the derivatives of M-MuLV RT and lacks RNase H activity. The Maxima™ H Minus First Strand cDNA Synthesis Kit allows synthesis of long cDNAs up to 20 kb at elevated temperatures (up to 65 °C), superseding other systems' abilities to produce full-length cDNA. Due to increased synthesis rates the reaction can be completed in 30 minutes.

The Maxima™ SYBR® Green qPCR Master Mix (2X) is a ready to use solution optimised for quantitative real time PCR and two-step real time RT-PCR on most real time PCR machines. The master mix includes Maxima™ hot start <i>Taq</i> DNA polymerase, SYBR® Green dye I and dNTPs in an optimised PCR buffer. ROX solution is provided in a separate vial for use with machines that require ROX as a passive reference dye. Maxima™ hot start <i>Taq</i> DNA polymerase in combination with the optimised buffer ensures PCR specificity and sensitivity. The SYBR® Green I intercalating dye allows for DNA detection and analysis without using sequence specific probes. dUTP is included in the mix for optional carryover contamination control using uracil-DNA glycosylase (UDG). The use of Maxima™ SYBR® Green qPCR Master Mix (2X) in real time PCR ensures reproducible, sensitive and specific quantification of genomic, plasmid, viral and cDNA templates.

DreamTaq™ Green DNA Polymerase is a combination of DreamTaq™ DNA Polymerase and 10X DreamTaq™ Green Buffer. DreamTaq™ DNA Polymerase is an enhanced Taq DNA polymerase optimised for high throughput PCR applications. It ensures higher sensitivity, longer PCR products and higher yields compared to conventional Taq DNA polymerase.
DreamTaq™ Green DNA Polymerase incorporates modified nucleotides, but is inhibited by dUTP. The 10X DreamTaq™ Green Buffer includes a density reagent and two tracking dyes for direct loading of PCR products on a gel. The coloured buffer does not interfere with PCR performance and is compatible with downstream applications such as DNA sequencing, phosphorylation, ligation and restriction digestion. For applications that require PCR product analysis by absorbance or fluorescence excitation, it is recommended either to use colourless 10X DreamTaq™ Buffer or purify the PCR product prior to analysis.

GeneJET™ Plant Genomic DNA Purification Mini Kit is designed for rapid and efficient purification of high quality genomic DNA from a wide variety of plant species and tissue types. It utilises silica-based membrane technology in the form of a convenient spin column, eliminating the need for expensive resins, toxic phenol-chloroform extractions, or time-consuming alcohol precipitation. The standard procedure takes less than 30 minutes following cell lysis and yields purified DNA greater than 30 kb in size. DNA yields vary between different species and tissues depending on genome size, ploidy, cell number, and the age of the tissue sample. The typical yield from a standard tissue source (for example, young wheat leaves) is 30 to 32 μg from 100 mg of tissue. Isolated DNA can be used directly in PCR, qPCR, Southern blotting, and enzymatic reactions.
