TRIP6 Antibody: TRIP6 (Thyroid receptor interacting protein 6) is a zyxin-related focal adhesion molecule involved in cell motility and antiapoptotic responses. TRIP6 is predominantly expressed in kidney, liver and lung. It has three LIM domains, a PDZ-binding motif, a Crk SH2-binding motif and/or other protein interacting domains. TRIP6 regulates NF-kappa B activation and interacts with RICK and TRAF2, proteins that are involved in TNF signaling. TRIP6 antagonizes Fas-induced apoptosis and promotes Fas-mediated cell migration in apoptosis-resistant glioma cells via Src-dependent phosphorylation of TRIP6 at Tyr-55.

The BC96 monoclonal antibody specifically reacts with the 55 kDa type I transmembrane glycoprotein known as the interleukin-2 receptor alpha (IL-2R alpha, also known as CD25). CD25 is expressed by the early progenitors of T and B lymphocytes lineage, and by activated mature T and B lymphocytes. CD25 is a low affinity interleukin-2 receptor, but its association with the IL-2 receptor beta chain (CD122) and the common gamma chain (CD 132) results in a high affinity IL-2R complex. This mAb recognises basic (Type II or HMW) cytokeratins, which include 67 kDa (CK1); 64 kDa (CK3); 59 kDa (CK4); 58 kDa (CK5); 56 kDa (CK6); 52 kDa (CK8). Twenty human keratins are resolved with two-dimensional gel electrophoresis into acidic (pI 6.0) subfamilies. The acidic keratins have molecular weights (MW) of 56.5, 55, 51, 50, 50 , 48, 46, 45, and 40 kDa. Many studies have shown the usefulness of keratins as markers in cancer research and tumor diagnosis.

This antibody recognizes a cell surface glycoprotein of 95/115/135 kDa (depending upon the extent of glycosylation), identified as CD43 (Workshop III). 70-90% of T-cell lymphomas and from 22-37% of B-cell lymphomas express CD43. No reactivity has been observed with reactive B-cells. So a B-lineage population that co-expresses CD43 is highly likely to be a malignant lymphoma, especially a low-grade lymphoma, rather than a reactive B-cell population. When CD43 antibody is used in combination with anti-CD20, effective immunophenotyping of the lymphomas in formalin-fixed tissues can be obtained. Co-staining of a lymphoid infiltrate with anti-CD20 and anti-CD43 argues against a reactive process and favors a diagnosis of lymphoma.

This antibody recognizes a protein doublet of 20-22 kDa, identified as MART-1 (Melanoma Antigen Recognized by T cells 1) or Melan-A. MART-1 is a newly identified melanocyte differentiation antigen recognized by autologous cytotoxic T lymphocytes. Seven other melanoma associated antigens recognized by autologous cytotoxic T cells include MAGE-1, MAGE-3, tyrosinase, gp100, gp75, BAGE-1, and GAGE-1. Subcellular fractionation shows that MART-1 is present in melanosomes and endoplasmic reticulum. This MAb labels melanomas and other tumors showing melanocytic differentiation. It is also a useful positive-marker for angiomyolipomas. It does not stain tumor cells of epithelial, lymphoid, glial, or mesenchymal origin.
