Human delta(3,5)-Delta(2,4)-dienoyl-CoA isomerase(ECH1) is a member of the hydratase/isomerase superfamily and contains a C-terminal peroxisomal targeting sequence and localises to peroxisomes. ECH1 shows high sequence similarity to enoyl-CoA hydratases of several species, particularly within a conserved domain characteristic of these proteins. The rat orthologlocalises to the matrix of both the peroxisome and mitochondria. It can isomerize 3-trans, 5-cis-dienoyl-CoA to 2-trans,4-trans-dienoyl-CoA, indicating that it is a delta3,5-delta2,4-dienoyl-CoA isomerase. ECH1 plays an important role in the auxiliary step of the fatty acid beta-oxidation pathway.

FXYD7 Antibody: FXYD7 is a member of a family of small membrane proteins that share a 35-amino acid signature sequence domain, beginning with the sequence PFXYD and containing seven invariant and six highly conserved amino acids. The FXYD proteins are tissue-specific regulators of Na, K-ATPase, with FXYD7 initially identified as a brain-specific member. FXYD7 interacts with Na, K-ATPase through its transmembrane domain and is thought to influence the affinity of Na, K-ATPase for external K+ and Na+ ions. Other members of the FXDY family have similar functions: FXYD2 regulates the properties of Na, K-ATPase, while FXYD1 (phospholemman), FXYD3 (MAT-8), FXYD4 (CHIF), and FXYD5 (RIC) have been shown to induce channel activity in experimental expression systems.

Beschreibung:
Lysosomal Associated Membrane Protein 2 (LAMP2) is a major component of lysosomal membranes. LAMP2 is a transmembrane glycoprotein about 110kDa. Mature human LAMP2 consists of a 347 amino acid (aa) intralumenal domain, a 24 aa transmembrane segment, and a 35 aa cytoplasmic tail . The lumenal domain is organized into two heavily N-glycosylated regions. Alternate splicing generates a human LAMP2 isoform (LAMP2B) with a substituted juxtamembrane lumenal region, cytoplasmic tail and transmenmbrane segment.LAMP2 itself can cleavage lysosomal luminal domain and degradation lysosomal. In the help of chaperone HSC73,LAMP2 mediates the lysosomal uptake in complex with cargo proteins and is required for the lysosomal destruction of autophagic vacuoles.

FXYD5 is a member of a family of small membrane proteins that share a 35-amino acid signature sequence domain, beginning with the sequence PFXYD and containing 7 invariant and 6 highly conserved amino acids. The approved human gene nomenclature for the family is FXYD-domain containing ion transport regulator. Mouse FXYD5 has been termed RIC (Related to Ion Channel). FXYD2, also known as the gamma subunit of the Na,K-ATPase, regulates the properties of that enzyme. FXYD1 (phospholemman), FXYD2 (gamma), FXYD3 (MAT-8), FXYD4 (CHIF), and FXYD5 (RIC) have been shown to induce channel activity in experimental expression systems. Transmembrane topology has been established for two family members (FXYD1 and FXYD2), with the N-terminus extracellular and the C-terminus on the cytoplasmic side of the membrane. This gene product, FXYD5, has not been characterized as a protein. This reference sequence was derived from AF161462.1 and ESTs; validated by multiple replicate ESTs and human genomic sequence. The ZORBAX® Bonus-RP column has a polar amide group embedded in a long alkyl chain. This novel bonding reduces interactions between basic compounds and the silica support, improving peak shape for the most difficult basic compounds. Peak shape and column lifetime are further improved by triple endcapping. In addition, diisopropyl side groups provide steric protection against acid hydrolysis for good lifetime and low pH. The Bonus-RP column provides an alternate selectivity to C18 and C8 alkyl bonded phases.

Beschreibung:
Below 35 to 40 °C gelatin swells and absorbs approximately 5 to 10 times its weight of water to form a gel. Gelatin is soluble in glycerol and acetic acid, and more soluble in hot than in cold water. It is practically insoluble in most organic solvents such as alcohol, chloroform, carbon disulphide, carbon tetrachloride, ether, benzene, acetone and oils. Sterile solutions of gelatin stored cold are stable indefinitely, but at elevated temperatures hydrolysis or rupture of peptide bonds occurs, increasing the number of free amino groups. Gel strength and viscosity gradually weaken upon prolonged heating in solution above ~40 °C; this degradation is accelerated by extremes in pH, proteolytic enzymes and bacterial action.

4E-BP1(eukaryotic translation Initiation Factor 4E Binding Protein 1),also called ELF4EBP1/BP-1/PHAS-I ,which is located on chromosome 8p12, with 118-amino acid protein (about 13 kDa). Binding of eIF4EBP1 to eIF4E is reversible and is dependent on the phosphorylation status of eIF4EBP1. Non phosphorylated eIF4EBP1 will bind strongly to eIF4E while(24 kDa), the phosphorylated form will not. Akt, TOR, MAP kinase, S6 kinase, and Cdc2 are known kinases capable of inactivating eIF4EBP1 binding to eIF4E by phosphorylating either threonines 35, 45, 69 or serine 64. Although, not all phosphorylation events equally block the eIF4EBP1-eIF4E interaction.
