Janet joined Molecular Devices in April 2019 as a Workflow Solutions Specialist and now leads the European BioPharma Team for Molecular Devices as a Sales Manager. Her career started as a Research Scientist at the University of Bath. Janet quickly moved into commercial roles in the industry, such as Miltenyi Biotech and Life Technologies, where she worked as a Senior Field Application Scientist and Product Manager, as well as doing Business Development for TTP Labtech across Europe. Janet holds a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Biology and an M.Sc in Immunology and has over 20 years of experience working in the Biopharma and automation sectors.
Carola Mancini Ph.D EU Field Application Scientist BioPharma
Carola joined Molecular Devices in September 2021 as Field Application Scientist specializing in automated end-to-end workflow solutions in cell line development, monoclonal antibodies, CRISPR gene editing, and synthetic biology. Carola holds an M.Sc in biotechnology and a Ph.D in Molecular Biology and Cell Physiology. She has researched at the German Institute of Human Nutrition in Potsdam, where she was involved in different cell line engineering projects to study obesity and metabolic disease. In 2016, Carola was involved in a research project investigating potential treatments for prostate cancer at the CIC bioGUNE Research Institute in Biscay, Spain.
