Vascular endothelial growth factor D (VEGF-D) is also known as C-fos induced growth factor (FIGF), which belongs to the PDGF / VEGF growth factor family and is active in angiogenesis, lymphangiogenesis, and endothelial cell growth, stimulating their proliferation and migration and also has effects on the permeability of blood vessels. This secreted protein VEGF-D / FIGF undergoes a complex proteolytic maturation, generating multiple processed forms that bind and activate VEGFR-2 and VEGFR-3. The structure and function of this protein is similar to those of VEGFC. FIGF / VEGF-D is highly expressed in lung, heart, small intestine and fetal lung. FIGF / VEGF-D may function in the formation of the venous and lymphatic vascular systems during embryogenesis, and also in the maintenance of differentiated lymphatic endothelium in adults. Binds and activates VEGFR-2 (KDR / FLK1) and VEGFR-3 (FLT4) receptors.

MYOZ2 binds to Calcineurin, a phosphatase that is involved in calcium-dependent signal transduction in diverse cell types. LYVE-1 plays a role in autocrine regulation of cell growth mediated by growth regulators containing cell surface retention sequence binding (CRS). It may act as an hyaluronan (HA) transporter, either mediating its uptake for catabolism within lymphatic endothelial cells themselves, or its transport into the lumen of afferent lymphatic vessels for subsequent re-uptake and degradation in lymph nodes.

IL6ST /CD130 can bind to IL6 /IL6R (alpha chain) complex, resulting in the formation of high-affinity IL6 binding sites, and transduce the signal. Programmed cell death 1 ligand 1 (PD-L1) is also known as cluster of differentiation (CD274) or B7 homolog 1 (B7-H1), is a member of the growing B7 family of immune molecules and is involved in the regulation of cellular and humoral immune responses. B7-H1 is a cell surface immunoglobulin superfamily with two Ig-like domains within the extracellular region and a short cytoplasmic domain. PD-L1 is highly expressed in the heart, skeletal muscle, placenta and lung and weakly expressed in the thymus, spleen, kidney and liver. PD-L1 is expressed on activated T-cells, B-cells, dendritic cells, keratinocytes and monocytes. PD-L1 is up-regulated on T- and B-cells, dendritic cells, keratinocytes and monocytes after LPS and IFNG activation and up-regulated in B-cells activated by surface Ig cross-linking. PD-L1 involve in the costimulatory signal, essential for T-cell proliferation and production of IL10 and IFNG, in an IL2-dependent and a PDCD1-independent manner.

CD273 (PD-L2) is one of two ligands for programmed death-1 (PD-1; CD279), a member of the CD28 family of immunoreceptors. The other identified ligand is PD-L1. CD273 is broadly expressed and also up regulated in a variety of tumour cell lines. On previously activated T cells, CD273 interaction with PD-1 inhibits TCR mediated proliferation and cytokine production, suggesting an inhibitory role in regulating immune responses. CD273 has a costimulatory function on resting T cells activated with suboptimal TCR signals.

Interleukin 23 receptor (IL23R) is a type I cytokine receptor for IL23. IL23 receptor complex is comprised of two subunits, the IL12R beta 1 subunit, which is shared with several cytokines, and a subunit that is unique to IL-23.
