BAD Antibody: Members in the Bcl-2 family are critical regulators of apoptosis by either inhibiting or promoting cell death. Bcl-2 homology 3 (BH3) domain containing pro-apoptotic proteins, such as Bax, Bid, and Bik, form a growing subclass of the Bcl-2 family. Another such protein is the Bcl-2-antagonist of cell death (Bad). Bad regulates apoptosis by forming heterodimers with anti-apoptotic proteins Bcl-2 and Bcl-xL, thereby preventing them from binding with Bax. Bad activity is regulated by its phosphorylation; it is inactivated by kinases such as Akt and MAP kinase and thus promotes cell survival, whereas JNK-induced phosphorylation promotes the apoptotic role of Bad.

BRSK1 Antibody: BRSK1 was initially identified as a mammalian homolog to the fission yeast S. pombe Cdr2, a mitosis-regulatory kinase and also shows significant homology to the C. elegans neuronal cell polarity regulator SAD1. BRSK1 is unbiquitously expressed, with highest levels of expression in the brain and testes. Similar to its yeast homolog, BRSK1 is thought to be involved in stress-induced cell cycle arrest. Overexpression of this protein leads to the G2/M arrest in HeLa S2 cells and UV-induced G2/M arrest could be partially abrogated by reduced expression of BRSK1 through the use of siRNA, indicating its role in DNA damage checkpoint function. More recently, it has been shown that both BRSK1 and the related protein BRSK2 are required for mammalian neuronal polarization. While BRSK1- and BRSK2-null mice were viable, double-mutant mice died within two hours of birth. Neurons from these mice showed uniformly-sized neurites as opposed to the normal long axon and multiple shorter dendrites. These neurites also displayed both axonal and dendritic markers. At least two isoforms of BRSK1 are known to exist.

Interleukin-35 is a newest and potent suppressive cytokine of the IL-12 family. Unlike other members of the IL-12 family which are produced mainly by antigen-presenting cells (APCs), IL-35 has been identified as a potentially immunosuppressive cytokine primarily produced by regulatory T (Treg) cells, and to a lesser extent by activated dendritic cells and macrophages. IL-35 is composed of the IL-12 p35 subunit and the IL-27 Epstein–Barr virus-induced protein 3 (EBI3) subunit. IL-35 plays an important role in many disease models and has been recently shown to have additional functions aside from inhibition of proliferation, including inducing its own expression in non-Treg cells.

Caspase-12 Antibody: Three distinct signaling pathways lead to programmed cell death (apoptosis). The death receptor and mitochondrion pathways are the mains, in which the key apoptotic proteases capase-8 and caspase-9, respectively, are involved. The endoplasmic reticulum (ER) stress is the third apoptotic pathway and caspase-12 is involved. Caspase-12 is localized to the ER but not to cytoplasm or mitochondrion. Caspase-12 is activated by ER stress, including disruption of ER calcium homeostasis, and mediates ER stress-induced apoptosis. Caspase-12 is co-localized to the ER with several proteins that are involved in Alzheimer's disease including gamma-secretase presenilin and beta-amyloid precursor protein (APP). Caspase-12 mediates cytotoxicity induced by amyloid-beta. Caspase-12 is ubiquitously expressed in mouse tissues.

FKBP15 Antibody: FKBP15, also known as FKBP133, is a member of the FK506-binding protein family, a group of proteins initially identified as immunophilins, targets for the immunosupressant drugs FK506 and Rapamycin. FKBP15 is expressed in the developing nervous system and contains a domain similar to Wiskott-Aldrich syndrome protein homology region 1 (WH1) in addition to the FK506-binding protein motif. FKBP15 is distributed along the axonal shafts and partially co-localizes with F-actin in the growth cones of dorsal root ganglion neurons; overexpression of FKBP15 resulted in the number of filopodia in transfected neurons, suggesting that FKBP15 modulates growth cone behavior. FKBP15 has also been shown to associate with both microtubules and the actin filament systems and disruption of its expression by RNAi resulted in delayed transport of early endosomes in HeLa cells indicating that FKBP15 is also involved in the transport of early endosomes. At least three isoforms of FKBP15 are known to exist.
